Meals to make the mouth water with Shaws Black Pudding & Sausages...

SHAWS SPICY SAUSAGE PASTA


INGREDIENTS:

  • 5 Shaws Sausages, chopped
  • 3 Shaws Rashers, chopped
  • 250g Penne pasta cooked to taste  
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 medium red or white onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tins of chopped tomatoes
  • ½ tsp of crushed chilli flakes or paste
  • 2 tsp of mized herbs
  • 20ml olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

PREPARATION:

Lightly fry the Shaws sausages and rashers in the oil until cooked and remove from pan. Gently heat the garlic for a few mins. On a low heat, add the onion and cook for 5 mins. Add tomatoes to the pan with the chilli and herbs. Return the Shaws sausages and rashers to the pan and leave to simmer for 35 mins, stirring occasionally. Season as required. Cook the pasta and drain, add the sauce and serve immediately, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
